Document Description
The Countryside Specific Plan is entirely comprised of "Residential - Low Density" land use designation and proposes a variety of housing types within a traditional neighborhood setting designed around a network of paseos, parks, and bicycle trails. The Specific Plan anticipates the development of approximately 819 residential units on approximately 178 acres and consists of eight neighborhoods of varying densities. Building density would be limited to an average of 4.6 dwelling units per gross acre. Approximately 10.11 acres of the Specific Plan area is proposed to be set side aside as open space. The project also includes a Development Agreement between the applicant (Meritage Homes) and the City of Ontario.
