Project consists of basic (archaeological) data collection and resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource; minor alteration of an existing public structure, included as "minor utility upgrade" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR 15300.1 and minor alteration in the condition of land and/or vegetation (minor trenching and backfilling where the surface is restored) which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
