Document Description
The project will remove an estimated 1,700 cubic yards of soil containing elevated concentrations of mercury from Area A of the Building 203 Drainage to achieve site specific background levels (0.09 mg/kg). The objective of the Building 203 Drainage Interim Measures (IM) is to prevent further migration from the source area on a hillside and drainage immediately north of Building 203. This IM is being conducted pursuant to the Department of Toxic Substances Control's, RCRA Facility Investigation enforcement order (Nov. 1992).
