Document Description
The proposed project purposes to demolish and reconstruct the existing Quadrangle Building's Lecture Hall and renovate the entire Quadrangle Building through upgrades to appearance and infrastructure. Located on the Northwest corner of Fairfax and Riverside Avenues, the proposed work would result in the demolition of 19,951 square feet, and the reconstruction of approximately 14, 127 square feet, of the total 81, 246 square foot Quadrangle Building, improving the Lecture Hall's earthquake resistance. The renocation of the entire Quadrangle Building would serve to upgrade all existing finishes, furniture, equipment, technology, access, and infrastructure. The completed reconstruction and renovation project is expected to increase the efficacy and capacity of the Quadrangle Building to accommodate the existing and growing number of students on the RCCD campus.

The completed reconstruction and renovation would increase the overall efficiency of the Quadrangle Building, but would not result in an increased capacity of greater than fifty percent.
