Document Description
Replace deteriorated portion of the existing 4" water line serving the entrance facilities at Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve and install a 5,000- gallon water tank with 5-horsepower water pump/motor to provide emergency water to residences and restrooms until planned park-wide system upgrades can be implemented. Pipe is experiencing up to four breaks per week. Both natural and cultural monitors will be on-site as necessary throughout construction, in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and SPR policies. Repairs are needed to provide a safe, dependable potable water supply and protect public health and welfare.
