Document Description
The proposed project is the transfer by Tulare Lake Basin Water Storage District up to 6,000 a.f. of 2004 Table A Water to Westlands Water District for landowners who farm in both Districts. The trasfer will be completed in 2004. The proposed transfer is designed to enable both Westland's and Tulare's water users to better manage their respective water supplies. No lands will be fallowed as a result of the transfer and no additional groundwater will be pumped. The lands have been actively farmed in the past.
