The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) proposes to adopt a resolution to accept state grant funding to determine sources of microbial loading at Castaic Lake. Metropolitan will accept state grant money under the State Water Resources Control Board's Nonpoint Source Pollution Control Program of the Safe Drinking Water, Clean Water, Watershed Protection and Flood Protection Act for a three-year project to determine the sources and loading of E. coli bacteria at Castaic Lake.
