U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking to expand the existing Grasslands Wildlife Management Area by between 15,000 acres and 49,000 acres. This expansion is proposed to be in conservation easements to promote "wildlife-friendly" crops, protect wetlands, and grasslands and other habitats for migratory birds, waterfowl, and listed species.
