Proposed Plan for remediation of metals soil (primarily lead) at Three Sites within the boundaries of Sierra Army Depot. Actions consist of safety clearance for potential ordinance or explosive wastes, excavation and consolidation of soils into (2) Corrective Action Management Units at the Old Popping Furnace and Upper Burning Grounds area. Pesticide contaminated soils from the Equipment Yard will be excavated and transported to an off-site treatment and disposal facility.
