Present Land Use
The North Industrial Waterlines would be located along Washington Boulevard near Highway 65 to Blue Oaks Boulevard through a permanent easement along Industrial Avenue. Land uses adjacent to the pipelines are mainly commercial and industrial, with a residential development located along a portion of the Washington Boulevard route.
Document Description
The Proposed Project includes the installation of two new pipeline segments in the Roseville North Industrial planning area. One pipeline segment would provide a connection to a future storage reservoir form the existing water transmission main in Industrial Avenue north of Blue Oaks Boulevard. The second pipeline segment would connect the existing water transmission main in Industrial Avenue to a transmission main in Washington Boulevard. The purpose of these improvements is to provide greater flexibility in the City's water delivery system while improving service and water pressure in adjoining areas. The Proposed Project would loop the City's water transmission lines, enabling the City to re-route water around closures and/or maintenance activities.
