Document Description
A proposal to acquire approximately 25 acres located between east Yosemite Avenue and Clinton Street and between Tozer Street and Elm Avenue, along with the approval of a Master Plan for its future development. The project will result in an amendment of the City of Madera General Plan to enlarge 3 acres of commercial along east Yosemite Avenue to 15 acres of commercial and decrease approximately 22 acres of medium density residential to 10 acres of high density residential. A rezoning is also proposed for 15 acres to C-1 (Light Commercial) and 10 acres to PD 1500, Planned Development zone.
