Document Description
The proposed project is acquisition of 51 acre of land and construction of a second comprehensive high school. The first phase of the project is projected to be finished in 2009, and accommodate 900 students. The first phase includes construction of a library and multimedia facility with a computer lab, the main school gym, cafeteria and food service facilities, student support area, and classrooms to accommodate the 900 students. Phase I is anticipated to cost 39 million dollars, funded by Measure I, a school bond passed by the voters located within the school district boundaries. Phase II of the project is anticipated to be complete by 2016, and would include construction of classrooms for the expanding student population. Capacity is planned for approximately 1,600 students.
