Document Description
As part of the Caltrans SR 84 Realignment and Widening at Vallecitos Road/Pigeon Pass in Alameda County, PG&E was asked to relocate an existing electrical distribution line to accommodate road widening work. Since Caltrans has now completed the realignment and widening work, PG&E is propsing to move the electrical distribution line back to its previous alignment with some minor variations on the location of a few poles that will have new positions due to the new design alignment. Temporary impacts will total 0.76 acres, and permanent impact will total 0.02 acres to California tiger salamander habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of the California tiger salamander, which is a threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of project implmentation.
