Farm Labor housing requires a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and a second farm residence requires a Special Permit (SP).
Document Description
The parcel is currently developed with two (2) single family residences. One of the residences was recently destroyed by a landslide. This application seeks to demolish that residence completely and convert the other existing residence to a Farm Dwelling for the ranch foreman per §314-141, HCC. Additionally, the applicant intends to develop an approximately 1,620 square foot new primary dwelling with an approximately 540 sf detached garage and an approximately 2,500 sf barn. A Conditional Use Permit and Special Permit are required for the Farm Labor Housing and the Second dwelling unit, respectively. All residences will be served by on-site water (a well and a spring) and sewage disposal systems.
