The project consists of a pilot remediation study involving the removal of nutrient-laden sediment from the eastern end of Big Bear Lake. The material would be transported approximately 7 miles to the Big Bear Landfill to be used for final cover. The project also includes implementation of the Closure and Post-Closure Maintenance Plan for the landfill.
