Document Description
The proposed Imperial Valley Enterprise Zone ("the Zone") includes portions of land located within the City of Brawley and adjacent unincorporated land in the County Imperial. One of the primary purposes of the Zone is to provide tax incentives to businesses thereby helping private sector market forces to expand the local economy. Among other benefits, use of special state and local incentives should help to create many new jobs. No specific development projects are proposed in connection with the creation of the Zone.
