The District proposes to undertake the acquisition of approximately 12.9 acres of undeveloped land in order to construct and operate the proposed San Elijo Elementary School. The District proposes to construct single-story and two-story facilities including classrooms for up to 1,000 students in grades kindergarten through fifth; administrative and library buildings; kitchen and outdoor eating shelter, a multi-purpose auditorium; parking facilities for visitors and staff; bus-loading/drop-off area, parent loading/drop-off area; hardcourt play courts; turf playfields and associated hardscape and landscape areas.
