Document Description
Execute a lease between the State Lands Commission and California Department of Parks and Recreation for approximately 83 acres of sea bottom adjoining the Point Cabrillo Light Station and Preserve, to create an underwater preserve containing the 1850 "Frolic" shipwreck and its surrounds. The preserve will protect the remains of the wreck in the sea floor, foster further archaeological and historical research on the wreck and its artifacts, and interpret the wreck to the public.
