Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropoiltan) proposes to authorize two reliability studies at the F.E. Weymouth Filtration Plant (Weymouth Plant), located in the city of La Verne. Metropolitan proposes to authorize the Weymouth Raliability Assessment, which will focus on plant reliability, including identification of equipment and facilities that may need to be upgraded to ensure reliable plant operation in the future. The assessment will address the conditon, age, redundancy, and operating and maintenance history of equipment such as pumps, valves, mechanical systems, and the structures that house this equipment. Metropolitan also proposes to authorize the La Verne Power System Upgrade Study, which will include investigations to identify necessary improvements to the electrical power system at the Weymouth Plant to ensure continued reliable operation of the plant.
