Reasons for Exemption
Current State budget revisions require the California Department of Parks and Recreation to increase revenue collection activities in meeting budget shortfalls. The subject automated pay station devices replace or supplement existing non-automated fee collection systems appurtenant to existing public institutional facilities. Automated Pay Stations result in a higher percentage of visitor compliance and are more convenient for their use.
