Document Description
The amendments add language to existing section 18072(d) allowing existing local enforcement agencies (LEA) whose jurisdictional population grows beyond 50,000 persons, but not to exceed. 80,000 persons, to continue utilizing the LEA's workload to determine the level of staff needed. These regulations will amend Title 14, California Code of Regulations, Division 7, Chapter 5, Article 2.1.

Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Section 15061(b)(3) "The activity is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA."
