Document Description
Remove the existing roof and install a new roof on the Gold Discovery Museum within Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. The existing roof is leaking and a new roof is necessary to protect the displays and artifacts housed in the museum. The museum was built in 1961 and is not an historic structure. The project will consist of removing the existing tar and gravel roof; replacing any dry rot encountered; and installing new drip edge flashing, water barrier, skip sheathing and a corrugated corten metal roof.
