Note: Draft EA, Draft FONSI To perform annual maintenance dredging in the Federal entrance and navigation channels, and the sand trap areas of Ventura Harbor. Annual dredging would be a max total of approx 1,000,000 cy, or a potential max 6,000,000 cy over a multi-cycle program period, of littoral drift material from the Federal channels and sand trap areas. Dredging typically be completed within a one month period during the late winter/early spring season, but could occur between September 15 and March 15 during any year. Weather conditions, performance of the dredging equipment, funding levels could all influence the duration of the dredging, and therefore, approx 75 days annually are expected. Beach compatible material to be placed on South Beach, South Jetty Beach, McGrath State Beach and/or McGrath State Near shore.
