Document Description
The selected Alternative project consists of reconstruction, widening and realignment of three segments of the Hyampom Road: Segment 2 from Post Mile 3.7 to PM 6.8; Segment 4 from PM 8.3 to PM 10.2; and Segment 5 from PM 10.2 to 13.7. The FHWA proposes to: Widen to two travel lanes with shoulders and curve widening; realign tight radius curves to achieve a minimum 20 miles per hour design speed; place retaining walls and guardrails at appropriate locations; raise the profile of the road to correct flooding problems, and replace a bridge across Little Creek.
