The Cook Lane bridge is presently a two-span wooden bridge. The bridge is approximately 6.7 meters wide by 8.3 meters long and is structurally deficient. The proposed bridge will be a single-span reinforced concrete slab structure approximately 8.4 meters wide and 12 meters long, at the approximate same location. The new structure will be constructed in stages.
