Document Description
The proposed includes demolishing two of the three existing buildings (260 5th Street and 320 Centre Street) as well as the parking structure, and constructing in their place a new Port Police Headquarters, new parking structure, the CMC (which will also include Port staff offices), and two public plazas. The Port will also lease the remaining building (250 5th Street) to the Charter School Foundation on a short-term basis (up to 5 years) at fair market rate. For the first 2 to 3 years of the lease, the 250 5th Street building will also house Port staff and CMC elements until the CMC building is complete.
