Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#EPIMS-SDO-18151-R5) to the project applicant, City of San Diego. The project proposes to widen the existing two-lane La Media Road into a six-lane road between State Route 905 and Airway Road and a five lane road between Airway Road and Siempre Viva Road to ease traffic congestion and address periodic water overflow of storm runoff at the intersection of La Media Road and Airway Road, which can occasionally render both roadways impassible. The project proposes to improve stormwater flow through the project vicinity by raising La Media Road and increasing the capacity of the existing culvert system.
