The improvements will make the targeted intersections safer for handicapped individuals. Approximately 752 square feet of right-of-way take will be required on the southeast corner of El Camino Avenue and Eastern Avenue on the grounds of San Juan High School. The right-of-way area consists of landscaping and parking lot. No native or landmark trees will be removed and no sensitive habitat or species exist on the project sites.
