Document Description
The proposed project consists of an Ordinance to amend the Sacramento County Code pertaining to adult uses. Specifically, the Ordinance would amend the definitions of specified anotomical areas and specified sexual activities, provide nonconforming use status to certain adult bookstores and prohibit nude dancing in adult live theaters established after the effective date of this Ordinance. The proposed Ordinance would also result in the creation of additional sites available for adult businesses by reducing the number of residential-open space land use zones that would trigger the 1,000-foot radius requirement (the proposed Ordinance would remove the 1,000-foot radius requirement from the AG (Permanent Agriculture), UR (Urban Reserve) and IR (Industrial Reserve) land use zones).
