Document Description
The project consists of excavating two 40' long by 10' deep trenches to expose subsurface geological deposits for earthquake study. During the course of the study, the trenches will be covered with plywood at the end of each day and the site will be enclosed with temporary fencing. At the conclusion of the project, the trenches will be backfilled and the site landscaped to a natural appearance. District Paleontologist will be present during excavation to ensure no impacts to possible paleontological resources. District Archaologist has determined there will be no impacts to cultural resources, and District Resource Ecologist has determined there will be no impacts to natural resources.
