Document Description
Caltrans proposes to improve safety and reduce accidents at the Central Redding interchange (SW quadrant) on the soutbound 5 to 44 eastbound connectors. Work scope includes widening and paving the outside shoulder of the connector and gore area and placing delineators with recessed bases in the paved area. The last three luminaries on the connector will be located outside the clear recovery area. Metal beam guardrail may be used near the end of the connector. Previous EA 381001 encompasses the limits of this project area.
