The existing North Sacramento Redevelopment Plan's current 12-year authority to commence eminent domain proceedings is about to expire. Therefore, the proposed Amendment would extend this authority another 12 years, or to July 30, 2016. The amendment proposes extending eminent domain authority for non-residential properties only.
