PAUSD is proposing to reconstruct a portion of the existing storm water drainage system at Barron Park Elementary School. Storm water from the elementary school site drains into Matadero Creek, a perennial stream. The proposed storm water drainage modifications include the following: 1) construction of a valley gutter to re-direct storm water; 2) removal or plugging of several existing pipes that drain into Matadero Creek; 3) replacement of an existing outfall into Matadero Creek; and 4) repair of the creek bank in the location of the new outfall.
