The SWRCP approved 2 applications and 4 change petitions in the Truckee River watershed filed by the US Bureau of Reclamation, Washoe County Water Conservation District, and the Truckee Meadows Water Authority. The applications are for additional storage in Stampede and Prosser Creek Reservoirs. The applications and petitions seek to add common purposes of use, places of use, and point of diversion and rediversion w/in the Truckee River basin in CA and NV. They are intended to accommodate implementation of the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA), which provides for the operation of Truckee River reservoirs. Project approved by lead agency on 9/5/2008.
