San Francisco State University (SFSU) proposes to expand the existing cogeneration plant by adding a new engine and a generator with a capacity of 1.4 MW, and construct distribution system improvements on the SFSU campus in San Francisco, California. The project would generate approximately 9,800,000 kWh per year of electricity needed by the campus, and provide 419,000 therms of heating capacity. The project would also provide additional heat and hot water to serve the needs of campus housing.
