The purpose of the project is to replace an existing bridge that is structurally and operationally deficient and to improve traffic safety. The planned replacement bridge will be constructed of concrete, 35 feet wide, providing one travel land and shoulder in each direction and will be supported by two abutments, spaced 45 feet apart.
