Document Description
The project includes sampling seawater at two locations within the Carlsbad Desalination Plant (CDP) by pumping the seawater up to a barrel sampler, filtering the seawater through a plankton net in the barrel sampler, discharging the filtered seawater back to its source, collecting the plankton retained by the net, and transporting the plankton in seawater to a Marine Research Portable Container located onsite. The sampling will be temporary and is expected to occur for approximately 12 months.
