Document Description
The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board issued a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification (Cert. #R9-2020-0090) to the applicant to place 57 concrete blocks within the discharge pond, a tidal pond adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, and relocate and replace the floating dock and gangway from the south side of the pond to the west side. The pond floor will be scraped and leveled to ensure secure placement on the pond floor. No eelgrass habitat occurs within the pond. To protect water quality, the installation will be performed when the plant is not operating, and a temporary silt curtain will be deployed to contain turbidity.
