The Amendment will "merge" the Original Project Areas (approximately 1,020 total acres; hereafter, as amended by the Amendment, referred to as the "Merged Project Area"), modify certain time and fiscal limitations in the Original Plans, as appropriate and necessary, and promulgate District authority to issue tax allocation notes and bonds and other long-term indebtedness in Project Area 3 No. 3; all to better and more effectively administer projects and programs within the Merged Project Area and to help alleviate blighting conditions, increase economic opportunities and provide affordable housing to qualified persons/families within the Merged Project Area and the surrounding community.
