Document Description
Following certification of the EIR and the EIR Addendum for this project, it was determined that an engineering option for the Biosolids Processing Facility should be prepared should the patented SlurryCarb process be temporarily out of service or operating at reduced capacity. This option consists of adding a second dryer as part of the existing process to provide additional drying capabilities of the received biosolids. The design is proposed to be modified to include an additional dryer of exactly or near exactly the same design and capacity as the already selected dryer.
