This project will re-establish the flow of a Saw-Pit Creek to its previous footprint. Project scope will involve placing 100-200 linear ft. of sand bags along the north/west stream bed approximately 200 yds above/south of the wet crossing in the picnic area. Mechanized equipment may operate to shore up the streambed banks and at the Arizona crossing. This is an emergency measure that will re-establish the stream crossing for park utility vehicles and eventually to public hikers and bicyclists.
