Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California proposes to perform a transformer bank reliability study for the five pumping plants along the Colorado River Aqueduct (CRA). These plants include the Julian Hinds, Eagle Mountain, Iron Mountain, Gene, and Whitsett Intake pumping plants. Metropolitan proposes to conduct a study to assess the current conditions of the transformer banks that provide power to each of the five pumping plants and to identify rehabilitation alternatives to improve system reliability.
