The reduction program will be evaluated at the completion of this effort by the resource ecologist staff prior to continuing the work. The final number of animals to be removed will be based on the population estimate achieved through the trapping program. Control efforts will be necessary in future years and will take place only after evaluation by resource ecologist staff.
