Document Description
Construction of yard track improvements will involve grading, installing, engineered fill; sub-ballast installation; and track and switch construction and necessary signal upgrades. All construction will occur within the existing BNSF right-of-way. Mitigation to replace a small wetland area that will be filled is included as part of the project.

Based on an examination of hits project, supporting information, and the following findings, the project is exempt by statute under CEQA. The project will not have any significant cumulative effects; there is no reasonable possibility that the project will have a significant effect on the environment due to unusual circumstances; this project will not affect any scenic resources within a designated state scenic highway; this site is not listed on any known site contaminated with hazardous materials; and the project does not cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a historical resource.
