Document Description
The proposed project would involve phased improvements to the City of Milpitas Main Sewage Pump Station site. Phase 1 of the proposed project would involve the demolition and removal of abandoned facilities, pipes, and control panels associated with the decommissioned wastewater treatment plant. These facilities include sedimentation basins, setting basins, sludge basins, a digester, chlorine contact basins, and a chlorine storage building. An interim corporation yard consisting of a paved surface would also be constructed to the north of the existing pump station. The interim corporation yard consisting of a paved surface would also be constructed to the north of the existing pump station. The interim corporation yard would be used to store equipment, materials, and vehicles for the City of Milpitas. Phase II would involve the demolition of the existing operations building, and the construction of a new operations building on the site with a garage and a concrete parking pad.
