The project is limited to restoration and enhancement of a previously improved segment of Gerber Creek including riparian plantings and associated irrigation, construction of a trail, and minor erosion control. The project will include 10.9 acres of riparian plantings within the 17.2-acre riparian project area, with approximately 300 individual trees containers (California black walnut, interior live oak, western redbud, etc.), approximately 1000 shrub containers (naked buckwheat, California buckthorn, California wild rose, etc.), and approximately 6500 ground plugs (coyote brush and coyote mint).
