Document Description
CALCO, operator of a Class III Disposal Site, is proposing an amendment to an agreement with the Town of Colma, the 1994 Disposal Site Operations Agreement as well as amendments to the General Plan and Zoning Code. These amendments would change the use to allow the manufacture and shipping of alternate daily cover to other disposal sites and would expand the boundary of the disposal site (considered an unlawful expansion of a non-conforming use). In addition, the applicant requests elimination of a park and trailhead included as the end-use of the disposal site after the required December 31, 2010 closing date, as designated in the General Plan and the 1994 Disposal Site Operations Agreement.
