Document Description
This is a proposal to modify the Contra Costa County General Plan (1995-2010) relating to the Agricultural Core (AC) land use designation. This General Plan amendment would amend the text description for the Agricultural Core land use designation to allow wineries with tasting rooms in conjuction with a planted vineyard and olive mills with tasting rooms in conjuction with an orchard through a land use permit for any parcel in the Agricultural Core that currently meets a 5 - acre minimum lot size. This proposal would also establish prototypical development standards or permit conditions for reviewing and apporving the uses, activities, and structures normally associated with a winery or olive oil mill in the Agricultural Core, and in other agricultural lands in the unincorporated area.
