Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to rehabilitate approximately 20.5 km of SR 12 in unincorporated Solano County. The purpose of this project is to upgrade the highway to current Caltrans highway design standards to enhance safety, improve traffic flow, and reduce future maintenance costs. The proposed work includes overlay of the entire road surface, profile corrections, shoulder widening, left-turn lane construction, intersection widening, and sufficient widening of two bridges to receive a new guardrail upgrades. Drainage modifications are also proposed, including the reconstruction of a box culvert with a larger structure.
