Document Description
The project proposes to widen an approximately 5,700-linear foot stretch of Calleguas Creek from 80 feet to 110 feet. The widening of Calleguas Creek would accommodate future projected flow rates that have been recently updated to account for new development occuring upstream, north of US Highway 101. The majority of the widening would occur on the western bank of Calleguas Creek, shifting the centerline of the creek slightly to the west. Dirt and vegetation as well as some agricultural land are located in the area to be cut. Rip-rap , which currently exists on the eastern bank of this stretch of the creek, is porposed to stabilize the newly widened area. The bottom of the creek would remain soft-bottom as it is currently.
